About

Hi there! I'm Heather!
...the creator of Three Little Kittens.
The name began with my children. When they were small, I used to call them my “three kiddies,” which slowly became “my three little kittens.” What started as a nickname became the heart of my creative life.
I began sewing because I wanted something beautiful for them. I was creating styled photoshoots and couldn’t find the storybook pieces I imagined — so I made them myself.
One dress became another. A project became a practice. What I didn’t expect was that it would also become a reinvention.
In my 40s, as my children grew and life shifted, I found myself asking who I was becoming beyond motherhood. Sewing — creating — became a way to rebuild that identity slowly and intentionally.
This space is about creating couture-inspired pieces at home, building a body of work one project at a time, and embracing a creative life that doesn’t rush.
If you’re a woman reinventing yourself, creating in the margins, or building something quietly but meaningfully — you belong here.
I’m so glad you found this space.
— Heather
